| BORN AGAIN - What does it mean ? |
|
You may have heard people talk about being born again and wondered what it's all about... Well, it really means that you get an opportunity to start over, to move away from the problems and failures of the past and begin living a different way. |
|
When you get born again you become a believer in Christ and get a relationship with God that changes everything in your life. Your past is wiped out, your sins are forgiven and you can experience complete peace in your mind and in your soul. On top of that you know that you will go to heaven when you die. |

So How do we get born again? There are three vital steps we need to take to be born again and get this new start in life. |

Step 1: REPENT... This is an old fashioned word but still relevant today. What it simply means is that you must do an about turn. Turn fro the direction you are going in and turn to God. Turn from what you know is wrong or evil or sinful and face Jesus Christ as the only one who can save you. |
|
Step 2: BELIEVE... Secondly you must believe that Jesus Christ is the true Son of God. You must believe that He died for you on the cross at Calvary in order that you might be forgiven and cleansed from all your sin by his blood which flowed out of him as he hung there on that cross.

Stpe 3: RECEIVE... Finally you must receive Jesus into your heart and life and accept his free gift of salvation. The Bible says that whoever receives Jesus Christ and accepts Him as their Saviour becomes a child of God. You cannot earn this or buy it. God's forgiveness, love and salvation is totally free to whoever is willing to receive it. |

If you would like Jesus Christ to save you and change your life, and give you a new destiny, then He will do just that for you. You can do this simply by talking to him and saying this prayer: |

Oh God, I confess that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sin. I am willing to turn to You right now. Please forgive me all of my sin.
Thank you Jesus for dying for me. I believe that You are the Son of the Living God. Please wash away all of my sin and guilt by your blood which you shed on Calvary.
Come into my heart and make me new. I hand over my life to You. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I receive You by faith into my heart. Thank you for saving me and making me your child. Amen |
